Mothman is a veritable celebrity in the world of cryptozoology. Hailing from the country roads of West Virginia, there is even a statue depicting his likeness in Point Pleasant, USA. However, his legend is overshadowed by the true titans of cryptozoology – Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, El Chupacabra and the Kraken. Unlike these monsters known the world over, Mothman does not strike terror into the hearts of humanity. He lacks the sharp teeth, Lovecraftian tentacles or monstrous strength for us to truly fear him. As such, we have gifted Mothman with a heartfelt lament and say unto him these words: “Mothman, do not heed the laughter of those mere mortals whomst languish you with mockery, for when they are dead and gone your legend shall remain. Praise be to the Mothman, and long may his myth reign!”

As has (rightfully) already been said elsewhere, this band and album are "absolute fire."
Despite the doom-gloom cover art, this type of rock music is a positive force. Especially without vocals, which for me is a bonus. Dale Lloyd
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016
